About Andrew
I'm a 30 year old web developer living in Pittsburgh, PA. I was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. I just completed my coursework for a Master's Degree in the Journalism and Multimedia Arts program at Duquesne University. My area of focus was in Web Design and Development.
My speciality is building custom Wordpress themes for clients' websites. I like to use Wordpress because it is free, open-source and can be used as a Content Managament System. My clients enjoy being able to update their own content and Wordpress works well for this.
I build everything from scratch in NotePad++ and I use Photoshop to create graphics for each site.
In addition to being a web developer, I am also a professional photographer. My area of interest is in firefighting. I've been shooting photos of firefighters at work for 12 years. I am the Official Photographer of the Wheeling Fire Department (in West Virginia) and I am an Honorary Member of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 12 "Wheeling Firefighters."
My passion lies in being able to create unique and informative multimedia pieces to help promote the work of firefighters on the web.
